In a first, an American woman used a suicide pod to take her own life. The process took place in Switzerland. It's done by pumping in only nitrogen gas, so the person will lose goes dizzy, loses consciousness and eventually dies. Enter futurama memes.

Yes it is. I saw people confused, thinking that all suicide was illegal. My comment created context explaining that suicide is allowed in certain ways.

The flag of Israel probably isn’t helping in that regard on Lemmy

possible. But imo that makes it even worse. Comments with information and context being screamed out of the discourse because of a unrelated matter, that's really pathetic.
