I partially blame the mods. They continue to work for free, and have shown that they’ll roll over and ultimately do whatever spez wants. Complaining while still helping Reddit is meaningless at best. The only Reddit mods I have any respect for are the ones who quit.
If you’re a Lemmy mod, I applaud that. You’re passionate about what you do, and you’re also providing a needed resource. If you’re a Reddit mod, you’re voluntarily letting a company exploit your talents. It’s pathetic.
