Haiku (俳句, is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases that contain a kireji, or "cutting word", 17 on (a type of Japanese phoneme) in a 5, 7, 5 pattern, and a kigo, or seasonal reference. However, modern haiku vary widely on how closely they follow these traditional elements. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku

I just want to say that all I know about haikus is the 7-5-7 rule. Thank you for enlightening me with your approach, it makes a lot more sense to me.
Regardless, I do really think it's a great and beautiful poem and I was pondering it most of the day
I'm glad to hear you like it that much :).
Whant to share your pondering? What does it mean to you?
