I used to play games immersively like that, but developers insist on making sure none of it matters. Like the blood moon, I understand why it's a thing, but I'd love to be able to turn it off, and stop all events from resetting and all entities from respawning. People are going to disagree with me, and that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion, but I'd just like the option.
Like in BotW, there was a mod to stop Ancient Guardians from respawning, at that point, I wanted to take them all down. It felt like my actions actually had an impact on the world. (One of the reasons why I hate that there is no post-game after the Ganon fights.)
yea, i get that.
I played, and enjoyed Raft immensely, but it felt off playing a game about how humanity destroyed the world, while going island to island clear cutting them.
