Hmmm interesting. What would be the difference to just turning the sim off?
Currently if I turn off the sim then iMessage and FaceTime for that line also turn off. I’m currently roaming and activating iMessage and FaceTime cost around $6-$7 every time they’re disabled
Oh right. I noticed that as well. It is annoying but I never use iMessage so it's turned off for now
Maybe try turning off mobile data for FaceTime. It’s an option under mobile / cellular settings.
For iMessage I unfortunately don’t think you can do anything but turn it and leave it off entirely.
Why do you need you to disable the sim? I just started using 2 sims when I’m on roaming and my FaceTime/iMessage still has my Sim1 number but all cellular data goes through Sim2. Sim1 is still on and I only get cellular calls.
