I think I'm going to block this community. They are clearly hostile and defensive. The author repeatedly only refers to this friend by their ethnicity, as if that's their only defining characteristic. Karen (ha!) gets a name, though. It would have been so easy to use the friends name, or make one up, and leave their ethnicity out of it, but it is clearly important to OP and the swarm of assholes in this community.
