Yeah, giving kids free lunches in schools is just awful.

And what's all this resistance to dropping the age restrictions on kids working? If little Johnny wants to work a 14hr shift down in the salt mine, we shouldn't stand in their way.

Why does the left do these things?

Not exactly a lot of conservatives for that shit. There's a lot of public outcry for puberty blockers however.
