Why is Contrapoints getting so much hate? (lemm.ee)

I saw someone say it was because she's supporting dems but that doesn't seem like enough for the amount of dunking I've seen. Did y'all think she was so far to the left that that would be a betrayal? I've typically thought of her as a progressive more than a leftist. Is there some statement she made I'm not aware of?

She's a very popular longform video essayist.

She's also trans, so I assume any undeserved hate stems from that.

That would explain a right wing whining binge for sure.

Is she any good? I tend not to enjoy video essays, which means me trying to evaluate that would be pointless.

Her work is pretty archetypical of video essays and I reckon she's probably been pretty influential in helping that genre of media to form. From that, I'd guess that you might not like her stuff if you don't click with video essays.
