I'm not going to post an update every time a (small) milestone is reached, but i felt this time it was warranted.

Sweden and Poland both passed their respective thresholds. That brings us to 3 out of 7 countries where we need to pass the threshold. We are also past 25% of the one million signatures needed continent-wide.

Thank you to everyone who already signed.

As a fellow European let me tell you... go fuck yourself with this shitty attitude.

Thanks. That seemed a bit harsh considering I wanted to help. I guess they did technically answer my question though.

To expand on the shitty answer - this EU initiative is just one of the possible avenues being explored. There was a UK-based petition, but that got suspended due to change of parliament and will have to be redone at a later date. There are other petitions and other actions possible for people in various countries. You can find the current list here. Different options open up and different times, right now the EU initiative is the biggest thing.

Unfortunately USA is mostly a lost cause - no action with any chance of success seems to be possible, unless you happen to own a copy of The Crew. Though you can always help out by spreading the word.

Work on your humour then. If read that comment you made up there again, you'll see that nobody would guess it's meant to be self-deprecating.
