I got suggested herbnterp.com for an Arizer Air Max. Has anyone ever used this site before? It seems pretty spartan. But also a rather small market to run a scam so I am trying to learn more.

Nope, seems shady. I wouldn't do it. Arizer is pretty inexpensive as-is, so I can't imagine saving much money by going through another vendor.
