Sup, folks who have woken up to this community based (seemingly) on my two pictures of everyone's favourite pandimensional equilateral pal today?

For those who don't know, there's another possible cipher hunt ARG going on right now. You should buy the Book of Bill (our dorito overlord commands it!), but the website of interest is thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com. Check it out!

Anyone have any theories about all of this? Right now, mine are:

  1. There's going to be a movie, set one summer after season 2. I'm very skeptical of season 3 being a thing, but could totally see a movie or at least a long special on Disney+ happening.

  2. Someone really, really needs to go back to Confusion Hill in Piercey, CA, ask some questions and post about it somewhere. The map piece under the monitor, that looks suspiciously similar to a puzzle piece, is less ringing bells and more screaming like a disembodied head. Plus even if it turns out to be nothing, it sounds like a nice way to kill a Saturday if you're close enough (cries in Canadian)

This site reminds me of The Stone.
It looks like either just an artistic project, part of an ARG, or just someone doing practice design.

Is this genuinely supposed to lead somewhere? Is it from Alex or found from someone else?

It's a website specifically referenced in the Book of Bill, which initially was accessible by entering a code found via a clue on Bill's IQ test and an excerpt from The Great Gatsby. It's definitely an official project, but its purpose is a little open-ended (beyond just being a fun website related to the book).

There are a few references that call to mind the last cipher hunt re: finding an IRL statue of Bill several years ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cipher_Hunt). A little poking around also gives some chronology clues re: where the site fits in the GF timeline.

A lot of folks are betting hard on the ARG side of things (myself included), but the possible end points are very unclear.

Edit: Question for you - have you tried entering any codes in the computer? If not, here's one: ADASTRAPERASPERA. There's tons of others.

Cool, I’ll try. I did enter some stuff with mixed results.

Hasn’t Alex recently hinted that something further is coming? Like that he wants to continue GF.

These four are the things I’ve gotten so far. I made them into one image because my Lemmy client is acting weird.

There is also some text that says "McGucket Labs" at the top of the screen that gives some text too.

Also I wonder why the static seems to be different every time you press the dial?

Yeah I saw that text. You can also trigger some stuff like the sword, book and skull.

Also found that if you type in Giffany into the search bar and repeatedly press enter you get a download of giffany onto your computer.

Thx for posting this @[email protected]

Edit: Also the eyeball in the background as well has some text.

Put in Dipper and also Wendy they each bring a resulting note. Mabel ejects a sticker onto the screen and do it enough times the screen says “Lab now fully Mabelized”

I also got a note from “Pacifica”.

Ooh and now I got this huge taped together notes from doing “SOOS” a few times. I’m just saving the images as I go.

Nice! Print that card, you never know when you might need it ;)

Another fun one is STAN. Try it a couple times in a row- maybe a lot of times in a row.

lol eBay stuff.

I had actually previously tried “GRUNKLE” on a whim but to no result.
