A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

Not sure how dead the Ottomans are. If I wake up one day and Erdogan has abolished the Turkish Republic and crowned himself Sultan of the Sublime Porte, I would be only mildly surprised.
