Checo has these moments of brilliance, and usually under the biggest pressure. But he just doesnโt have the consistency he needs to be WDC. I know that the comparison is a tall one, but being partnered with a guy like Max whoโs at his peak really highlights all of Checoโs flaws.
If Checo was the lead driver and Max wasnโt in the game, I think Checo could take WDC this year, but it would be a hard fought win, nothing like this run away dominance weโre seeing with Max.
