So fucking what? He is a public figure. They get death threats all the time.
If you honestly cannot tell what's different about the current political atmosphere in the US, then I truly don't know what to say.
The difference is the missing backbone of too many people.
Sure thing, bud.
So you cant really disagree with arguments then? Cool.
I didn't see any arguments?
Because you havent given any... You asked a question. I answered you didnt say why you disagree with the answer.
When you're in a world-famous band and have a family receiving a constant stream of (I'm sure sexually explicit and extremely violent) death threats describing to you in detail the horrific things they will do to your wife and kids in front of you if you choose to continue touring, then maybe you can fucking talk. Especially only a couple of weeks after the former (and at-the-time frontrunner to be next) President was literally shot at and missed getting killed by an inch or two.
Political violence in this country is very real. Sorry if I'm not going to shit on someone for putting the safety of their family over some (ultimately, let's all be adults here, pretty cheesy) heavy metal parody rock band. I would do the same thing.
You have no idea what these people are probably dealing with in private right now. Big fucking tough guy on the internet.
I dont care what people rich enough to afford protection go through. He didnt need to do or say anything. Hell he could have even said he didnt like the joke. Would be spineless but not as spineless as completely throwing his friend under the bus.
You're strangely invested in this... Hope you get a refund for your tickets?
