Now that you mentioned it, I wholeheartedly agree. Dune was a more primitive RA2 but the story was superior, even to more modern RTS.

Dune 2 was very primitive, but it set standards for the whole genre, and frankly, is still fun to play. Especially since there are a few fanmade projects still not letting it die. CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE

Woah, I didn’t know that Dune is still active. Last OS I tried it on was Windows XP.
