Edit: I mean I accidentally posted to the perchance public gallery, not to lemmy . I’m an idiot, and I need help. I might have accidentally uploaded an embarrassing image with names in it to the public image gallery. I’m not even sure I did, but it’s possible. I’m worried that someone I know will see it. It’s not been upvoted from what I can see, since it’s not “trending” or “best.” I can’t find it in recent because it’s already deeply buried. My questions:

Any way I can delete it?
Will it get auto deleted after a while? If so, do you know how long?
Will it appear on google images?
Do I have any recourse?
Do I even need to be worried?

If you can't find it in trending nor best and it is beyond where any noncrazy person would find it in recent, I think you don't have to worry (unless the person happens across this post and then scrolls way far back on recent images of the specific generator you are talking about). You can't delete it, but if you find it you may be able to downvote it enough times using one or more accounts that the gallery autohides it. Most galleries have a setting for 'how many downvotes hides an image' in their perchancescript. Often it is like 2
