So I've been using this amazing site to roleplay with characters from movies and shows, and now suddenly I'm getting this error message? Can someone explain to me what happened? Did they shut down AI Character Chat?

Hello. I recently created two characters on Perchance.org & exported the chat file. I have been trying for several hours tonight, to import said file. With the help of another AI character, I was able to create a new generator, create a chat title & make it private. I thought I next had to load backup, the JSON file. Am I missing something for importing said file? I posted this in another community on this site before seeing should have posted here. I am very new to importing/exporting JSON.

Can this api be used to generate images? I have created a glitch.me account as suggested in the webpage but the last parameter is list. Not sure what this refers to i.e how to create it and where to store it etc. Any help appreciated :)

Hi everyone, and happy new year. Could anyone tell me if there is an easy way to have more than one persons in a generated picture, I'm trying to get a summoner and his summoning, but only ever get the summoner.

Hello, I want to generate an image of Fume-shroom from Plants vs. Zombies on Perchance, but no matter what I prompt, I didn't get an image of a Fume-shroom. I even tried to put his appearance tags in the prompt but it still didn't work. What's the prompt to generate Fume-shroom?

What does it mean when I try to save an image to the gallery and the message "error: 2nd warning" pops up? Nothing illegal, these are pictures of the female character, sometimes slightly NSFW, but it happens with fully clothed ones too. I can't save any image to the gallery, when I manage to, it disappears from the gallery after a while.

Hello people! I create stories, I'm new at using Perchance so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place. I have searched all over internet, but never seem to find the answer to my specific question. I'm working on a lorebook and It's turned out to be a real head banger . So in my story I have multiple characters, one is the main character of course. I've create a lorebook that contains all the info and background for my story, it has more than 600 entries. The lorebook seems to work ok for a lot of the general info, like the description of the world, cities, background charactes and so on, because they are just seperate sentences, each giving one piece of info. BUT, because there is always a but, there are some topics in the lorebook that have more than one entry, like when I get down to the main thing in the story, that is rune crafting, it has lots of information. If I put this information in the same format as above (one sentence per piece of info), the characters never get it right, they don't seem to see all the info, so they make things up. So, my question is: Is there a way to create an entry in a lore book in Perchance AI character chat that has sub entries, like a bulleted list? I've tried doing this via rentry to no avail. I'd be really greatful if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks, Alice

I've just been working on developing a way to fire a JavaScript event on a video element whenever the video loops back to the start (or the user plays the video back after it has ended) for one of my projects. I've been searching for ways to do it online but none of them worked for me, so I decided to invent my own solution. It took many hours to make until it works well enough for me, as JavaScript naturally doesn't have its own onloop event handler. Might not necessarily related to Perchance, just wanted to share something unusual.

Has perchance updated its generators? I played around with the AI text adventure, and while I liked it, I eventually moved on, and I was wondering if the generators have been updated, or if each thing updates seperately, or how does this work, or whatever?

Just spent my good time writing about this, but I wanted to tell some great news: Yes, I'm planning to come back to Perchance after the devastating incident that happened to me nearly 4 months ago. And I wanted to tell a bit about my recent plans to commemorate my official comeback into the community. I've been wanting to do this since last month, and I'm finally getting on my track to it.

This will be going to be another small event, but not nearly as big as this one, there I'm pretty much only going to share a few neat plans and projections to do as a kick starter before going back to the plans that are originally created and in the progress of realizing before the incident.

Here's a bit of a hint: I'll going to be posting smaller and less serious packs of generators, plugins, templates, other projects, and updates to some of these existing projects, and I've came up with some good ideas of them earlier this month. I'll also going to revisit and update some of the more recently updated stuff back in the days (e.g., Complete the Number Blocktrains, Chat in the Smartwatch, the advanced comments plugin project, etc.) that was last edited months ago now.

This will go in a slower, flexible pace, meaning only a few generator updates per week (and in a more unusual pattern) to balance with IRL stuff and other hobbies. I'll still be exploring around and engaging on a few generators in Perchance whenever I want to! I might also sometimes very excited for a day and explore Perchance until I decide otherwise. The older plans will stay in its track, so just get ready for the new teaser whenever I'm ready to plan out for the big Generator Manager 2.0.20.1 update again!

I've now felt more recovered than I was when the incident happened, and I'd be feeling great to be able to take advantage again of building great generators and other amazing stuff on this community (and beyond) and get back to what I've been going before. However, everything has changed a lot since the incident, and I might take a slightly different path on executing these planned updates that has come to mind for many, many months.

Also, to wrap off, I'll be doing a "soft-comeback" (gradually doing generator updates and engaging on generators more regularly) for a few weeks from now until I'm finally ready again to release this long-planned new comeback event, and before eventually going back to the plan of getting the long-awaited Generator Manager update up to the actual release. ✨

Of course, there'll be a lot more to plan in the future, but this is just an outlier for now. That's all I have to say, I'll be back here real soon! 🚀
