A video about the effects of climate change, change in regulations, piles of trash, cleanup attempts, and crowded lines on Mt. Everest.

I thought the narration was a bit slow for me (probably for dramatization). Watch it at 1.25x if you feel the same.

I lose respect for people climbing Mt Everest these days. Rich person bucket list nonsense.

I understand what you mean but the current economic situation of the country makes it vital for local community.

Totally mate. I've been to Kathmandu and Kopan monastery. No hate on the locals making money out of their mountain. I used to imagine sherpas bringing back dead peoples expensive hiking supplies to re-sell in town.
