There were cases of them deleting posts that critisced certain governments. Hence why I am on Lemmy.World and not that instance.
There are good reasons not to like/trust them outside of a "flood of content" those kinds of users don't go on ml they are on Lemmygrad and they are equally awful, which is why I am not on that instance.
Right, but that's the point. You don't have to like and trust them, as long as they aren't hurting your community, which, as best I can tell, they aren't. You can still federate with people you don't like, as long as you can trust them enough to not over run or hurt your communities.
Exploding heads was hurting communities, so that's different.
