Yes, two weeks ago on the NorCalBDR. We reamed and cleaned the hole, applied glue, plugged and inflated the tire. Rode another 500 miles or so and it’s still holding. But the real reason I like this tool is the cylinder enclosure and the simple way it breaks down. I’ve struggled keeping standard “T” shaped tools from poking holes in my bags. They are awkward and usually two separate tools which take up more room than they should. This tool takes up little room but provides good grip to push the plug in when assembled. The rope plugs are nothing special. In my experience this type of plug usually works fine. YMMV
