However, riding for long distances – if you’re not a pro – or when planning to go off the tarmac, an e-bike is not the best companion. Before you look for a capable pickup truck – that’ll never be the first choice for a city commute

Ever ridden a trike as an adult? Like not a toddler's big wheel but a full size three wheeler? They're terrifying because the steering doesn't work like a bicycle. You can't go faster than a moderate wander. A walker with 4 tennis balls is a more practical transportation system.
