You love to pontificate about the state of journalism but you waste no time to buy into whatever narrative alternative media is peddling. Say what you want about mainstream media, but at least they have some editorial oversight and people get fired all the time for misrepresenting facts (plenty examples to back this up); at least mainstream media will issue corrections to articles; Who the fuck Is checking Glenn Greenwald? When the hell has Max Blumenthal issued a correction?

The issue is people like you have no media literacy and spout the same nonsense about the state of journalism and just love to pontificate about how enlightened you are. No one's buying it.

You do know many of these 'alt media' people come from legacy media...

some editorial oversight and people get fired all the time for misrepresenting facts (plenty examples to back this up); at least mainstream media will issue corrections to articles; Who the fuck Is checking Glenn Greenwald? When the hell has Max Blumenthal issued a correction?

I see it as seeing past the status quo propaganda, I do not mean it to be seen as a push to help our ego, where we flaunt ourselves as having the moral high ground, being the chosen and enlightened people.

I am not trying to sell anything to anyone, I am just making sure to show my view points, so as lemmy does not continue or become an echo chamber or a bubble, where diverse ideas are even more scarce.

I watched that debate. Nothing of substance was said by either side. Douglas Murray is the epitome of "correlation is causation" and feelings, but nothing of substance to back is points except some extraneous cherry picked examples. Same goes for Taibbi dude --all feelings.
