i mean i would eat a hotdog on the ground outside if i was truly hungry. ive seen motherfuckers do similar shit.

Hah, yeah, I'm poor (relatively to being in a rich country with thankfully at least a subsistence-allowing social system), and my for the most of my life undiagnosed autism and related personality disorder left me with many phases where I was unable to leave my apartment to get groceries. It's amazing how low you can end up lowering your standards if you get truly hungry, and have next to nothing "proper" available.
