Workers should never feel like they need to take unnecessary risks. This is especially true for pregnant women.

Also, why did the monkeys have herpes? Was that part of the research or something that is common with these monkeys?

Monkeys and primates are often times used in medical testing, and the primates and monkeys are infected with human disease for testing drugs.

That monkey was probably part of another research grant that infected it, and that research completed this being that has herpes is probably included in this research for Musk.

Primate animal testing is a horrifying gig. There is a primate research center in Oregon that goes through the human techs in a week because they have to do things like giving chimps dozens of inter-cranial shots of a disease every day.

Humans are pretty much monsters.

It fascinates me that people can be horrified by this and then stand up off the toilet, go to the store, and give a bunch of money to the people running factory farms. They are willfully oblivious to their own hypocrisy, and oftentimes, they go even further so as to verbally abuse anyone who points it out.

So yes, most humans are indeed despicable selfish monsters who insist on seeing themselves as somehow morally superior to nearly everybody else. It's mind-blowing.

Musk offered them a horse to have sex with him, but you know, people who would trade sex for a horse aren't necessarily the most discriminating of sexual partners.
