It says nothing about how those hostages are being treated. I am not those reddit assholes. But I am not going to pretend either side is the good guy here.

There are no sides, it's a superpower state vs people. You ALWAYS side with the people. The state doesn't need your help, they have everything already.

And people live in Isreal. I am a bit more sympathetic ti Palestine but I am not going to kid myself over hamas

The people of Israel have an Iron Curtain™️. The people of Israel choose to be there knowing they are colonizing the land and home of Palestinians. I'm Jewish and have a 'birthright' to do the same, but it's unconscionable. I understand the plight of the Jewish people, I understand a free home and universal healthcare and education could be tempting. But it's unconscionable. There is no defending it. There's nothing you or anyone could say to excuse it. Anyone capable of doing the above to a fellow human being must be at best in need of deep reflection.
