Rain barrel vs tap water, EC and PH comparison. (lemmy.world)

Installed some new rain barrels, so just wanted to see how it compared to tap. Just using some HM Digital meters to test.

What is EC?

That is much better answered by someone else

But it’s basically the nutrient strength of your water, I’m adding nutrients to the water I’m giving to my garden and flower plants, so would like to make sure I’m not giving it too much.
