What? In the myth of Narcissus he was not cursed. There was a prophecy but no curse. Echo was the one who was cursed. Narcissus was just so vain he fell in love with his own reflection because no one else could compare.

Nah, one of the incels he rejected prayed to Nemesis to punish him, and she did. Read Ovid's Metamorphoses. The prayer was "let him also love what he cannot have", so she made him fall in love with his reflection. It was divine punishment.
