No, that would mean they will have to wear the suit every episode, it can't be a one off goof.

Just have them apply liberal amounts of waterproof suncream. Or just say vampires can survive the sun in this universe and that stereotypes are mean.

Ah see, my assumption was that Surf Dracula usually surfs at night
