He then went on a rant about how he hates how everyone says she's only popular because of her race and listed her accomplishments including checks notes the TV ratings she gets?

I mean, yeah, that's true. There's a lot more talented women in her draft class, and definitely in the WNBA.

But she made more than most teams starting 5 will make in their entire career before she ever walked onto a pro court.

That's what makes this even more fucked up, he wasn't trash talking to her when he picked that phrase. He was trying to defend her.
