Obviously that's why the article was published, it even mentions his passing in the first paragraph.

oh snap i really failed to skim it XD I specifically was looking to see if it mentioned his death and TOTALLY missed it somehow.

did my brain do that thing where it moved my eyes over the text without internalizing the content again @_@ jeez usually i catch when it does that.
