Probably both. Same as the only other person being downvoted saying people bought what their favorite streamer told them to. Because apparently no one can just.. enjoy the game.

I do admit I haven't played it. I know what's enjoyable after having a hole burnt in my wallet from meme hype and lies being pumped on the internet.

Meme trains are real and I'm VERY skeptical of any game that gains popularity overnight. This game hasn't proven me wrong either. I'd play it for max $15. It's maybe 6 hours of fun in my eyes.
