I've got about 1/4 acre with some odd shapes and walkways. I'm looking to invest in a robotic mower, but the boundary wire ones don't seem to work with my layout. It doesn't need to have clean mow lines or anything, I just want my grass to be shorter.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a non-wired robot mower? Preferably one that integrates with HA, but that's not required.

If you do, what are the pros/cons of the unit?

Yikes. It got worse? Any indication from the company that they are going to fix it?

The only communication of intent I get is how the software is behaving today. A small part of it would be coding problems, the larger and more concerning part is the design philosophy in my mind. If they're doing it this way now, it doesn't look like a mistake.

One other challenge is the RTK signal to the robot. There are a couple larger than I'd like swaths next to the sides of the house that the mower can't go in because it can't get good navigational signal. It means I still have to mow those by hand.

If you do get one of these wireless mowers, get one with a decently long return period, then don't slack on testing every scenario you want covered so if it doesn't do what you want you could return it.
