Worse job market to enter than to re-enter with experience.

Folks with degrees unable to start careers until 2, 3, 4 years after earning a degree. Debt.

It's pretty straightforward.

LOL - you are comparing who you think is better off? ha ha! Sure man - you win. I wouldn't want to be a Gen Z too!

But you can't say that Gen X already is wealthy or that they are better off just because they had a head start.

No, I mean they're retirement holdings are similar to boomers and dwarf gen Z and millennials, even when controlled for age.

It's not even close.

Gen X is literally fine. If you're gen x, and not, that's on you. Your cohort is fine.
