Activision has announced a new game development studio opened in Poland named Elsewhere Entertainment.

Based in Warsaw with additional resources in the US, the studio is developing a "new narrative-based and genre-defining AAA franchise".

It's the second Activision studio in the country after the Krakow-based Infinity Ward Poland and, while this is its public unveiling, it's already been working on its first project.

Execs: "Why was Xbox third place this generation?!"

Product Managers: "Uuuh idk let's check Reddit"

Reddit: "Well first there's not much in the way of AAA--"

Exec: "THAT'S IT! FIRE OUR INDIE STUDIOS! EVERYBODY MAKES AAA RIGHT NOW!!"

Honestly seems like it's a totally plausible scenario.

I feel bad for the devs because they do all the work and have all the talent but the Execs and board of directors dictate what goes on and it's always driven by money not passion. I'm starting to worry for Xbox's future in console gaming with Microsoft as a whole now taking the helm.
