What does this prove?
This picture doesn't prove the onion was correct.
Besides the ones who changed their way of count was Gaza health ministry
The ministry did not change their killed count. They only changed the amount of bodies that were identified.
Say 6 million people got thrown into an oven during the Holocaust. Now there's not just unidentified bodies, there's no bodies at all. Does this mean those people were not killed and the Holocaust did not happen?
My bad, I didn't write specific enough.
Gaza health ministry changed how they classify unidentified vs identified bodies.
But my point was that NYT didn't do what the onion article title says they did. I am not trying to defend NYT in their ignorance when writing their title, I just wanted to know how the onion title was related?
The killed count did not change. Just the amount of fully identified kills.
New York Times is intentionally writing misleading headlines and counting in strange ways to misrepresent the actual amount of Palestinians killed by israel.
