So go ahead and save posts and comments for later, and since they are saved to your lemmy account, they'll show up on other clients that support saving, too!

In the future, configurable swipe gestures will support swipe-to-save as well!

Since the web app (iOS) got updated to 0.12.0 (and now 0.12.1), I can see posts, but when clicking on one, I see an endless spinner, and a "Comments" title. Re-pinning the web app, and clearing browser data does not help. Anyone else experiencing this too? Any suggestions how to fix this? (Now using Memmy as a workaround)

Also loving @wefwef. I know the whole thing is that it is apollo-like, but wow it feels good.

I'm enjoying the wefwef feel, but I have a question about copy/paste with comment text: is it even possible?

When I click on a given comment it collapses. When I click and drag it swipes. Is it possible in the web browser (desktop) to highlight a comment's text at all? It's not rare that I want to copy/paste some text, especially Lemmy links lately, to search/work with them. I'll also want to copy/paste quotes or other material on occasion.

So: what's the trick or instructions, if they exist, to be able to copy/paste text in wefwef?

(Asking for confirmation about discarding your post whenever you want to make a new one)

Is there a way to allow user to tap the top of the screen to scroll up to top of feed? This is my standard way of browsing that I use for all apps, but it doesn’t seem to work on WefWef. Love it otherwise!

Thank you for building out post hiding. That was the one feature I was missing most from my Reddit app. Really looking forward to the option to mark posts read as they're scrolled past.

The app is amazing and I absolutely love that it's a PWA.

So in know there is GitHub etc but I’m struggling from the app.

One of the features I most used was in the comments to jump to the next thread. There was a button bottom right to move to the next top level comment.

Could this be added to the feature requests?

I took this screenshot and quote from a request from another app (thanks @Carnelian). I think this app is also missing this and I think it is one of the highest quality of life features.

It doesn't happen consistenly but happens quite frequently. If you swipe to vote, it no longer registers the scroll. To get out of it, you have to either tap somewhere on the screen (which doesn't register as a tap) or slight swipe to vote without actually triggering the vote. Then, scrolling happens normally.

When I first started the app I could browse as guest in an instance. But after creating my first account, I’ve lost the option to browse an instance as guest. Some instances are closed to registration, but I’d still like to check them out (beehaw).

I thought for sure I'd find it under my own user profile but it's empty, I assume only for manually hidden items. But what about a thread that disappeared because I refreshed the feed after upvoting? I even went to the sublemmy but still can't see it. Thanks.

• When replying and writing a text, trying to move the cursos by dragging it drags the whole screen instead.
• When using the light theme, the clock and top icons are white making them unreadable.

Any posts to this community has to be done using a different app because the Wefwef client won’t post and doesn’t let me exit out of waiting forever for it to work. My only option is to delete the comment or I have to close the app entirety and return to go back to browsing after attempting a post.

Is this intentional?

Will custom themes like those in Apollo come to WefWef?

It seems to be a bug for Firefox Android, but I had an empty space at the top when using wefwef as a PWA. Setting the toolbar position to "bottom" in the three-dot setting menu seems to fix it.
