Luz: I've... never wanted to use this.

(Luz's hands hold the two halves of the card. Each card has half of a glyph on it)
Luz (off-panel, continued): It only works on one individual at a time, so the others won't be affected.

Panel 3
(Luz clicks the halves together. There is a single complex glyph combining multiple smaller glyphs that begins to glow red)

Luz (demonstrating): But we can't just stick it to any part of Grom's body.
            Grom is smart enough to detach herself from it before the effect spreads
(Luz separates the cards. We see a demonstration image of a glyph card stuck in what appears to be a chunk of stone, with Grom breaking off part of itself before the petrification spreads onto it)

Luz (off-panel): We have to deliver it straight to the "heart".
(Close-up on the center of Grom, with the glowing face)

(Luz begins to get up off the flower petal, her legs wobbling)
Luz (continuing): Come on, Stringbean, let's go-

Luz: No, I can do this-
Amity: Luz, you can barely walk.

(Ayzee has a deliberating expression. Luz and Amity are arguing over her from each side)
Luz (off to the left): Give me a second and I'll be-
Amity (off to the right): Just give me the glyph.

Ayzee: I'll do it.

            Ayzee and I should do it.

(We see the roof of the cavern, with several bubbles, and tendrils dangling down)
Milan (V.O.): We are smaller, so less likely to be grabbed.

(We see an image of a yellow arrow weaving its way over the ground to the center of the cavern. Milan is expounding on her plan)
Milan: And if Mrs. Amity can summon a platform for us, we'll be able to surprise Grom from below.
