Reddit Action Front

A place to post threads on Reddit and brigade them. We're allowed to do that on Lemmygrad so, let's do it.

Holding that volume is important to disseminate ideas, we hope to help combat the anticommunist narratives on Reddit through pinpointed actions with the help of organised brigades.

First and foremost, the Reddit Action Front has a duty to educate the masses on Reddit, not troll them.

Please preface your post with [RAC] in the title!

There was a call to arms post about wolfballs, then like a couple days later wolfballs admin closes wolfballs.

In the original post, wolfballs admin complained about an organized entity like a government or a cooperation coming after him.

Wolfballs refugees are fleeing to exploding-heads.com it seems like which is another Lemmy instance

Wikipedia is hard to vandalize due to having to 10000s of editors and 99% of the editors being cia, but this isn't wikipedia so it's the cia's soft underbelly wiki. It has no citations, not even cia approved citations like al jazeera.

If nothing else, we can easily make a page about their lord and savior obama and add citation to lemmygrad.

Reddit uses reCaptcha when registering an account, which often blocks proxies, like tor.

Then I have to wait at least a day so that I don't get bombarded with reCaptchas.

Next I have to carefully make posts so that Reddit won't shadowban my temp account.

I fuck up the last step a lot so I end up getting shadowbanned.

They have no interest in dialogue, and they have been consistently attacking us, our communities, and harassing our members.

Let's use this post to share threads which we could intervene with comments, not attacking anyone but by unironically responding to their arguments, engage with each other's comments, upvoting, imperializing EnoughCommieSpam into becoming a new GenZedong.

This will piss off many anti-communists and we will have fun in the process. It's a win-win.

As /r/genzedong stands in the shadow of Reddit's raised fist, our community faces tough choices about how to address the situation. Reddit is one of the most valuable resources we have; its large user base and integrated community allows for targeted outreach, education, and agitation. On the other hand, the ubiquity and popularity that Reddit currently enjoys is not evergreen. Reddit, as a noble house in our modern, digital feudalism, will eventually be exhausted by the broader contradiction of which it is a part: that between the masses of internet users and tech companies' centralized, feudal control. This process is already underway, as seen by developments in Web 3.0 and federated forum structures like lemmy.ml.

Nevertheless, there is still much more runway for these contradictions to sharpen before the change becomes qualitative and we enter a new epoch of digitally represented commons. So, given our position at this stage in the contradiction, we must facilitate its resolution by establishing stable channels by which we can shepherd our comrades into decentralized communities like lemmygrad.ml. We must recognize both aspects and bridge them - investing in lemmygrad.ml at the same time that we maintain a focused yet sufficiently nebulous presence on Reddit that, at key moments and places, offers a path away from its feudal lands.

Freedom from the feudal structure also allows us to overcome the barrier between in-person organizing and digital organizing. While there is no replacement for concrete action inside a united party in the real world, it would be folly to neglect how the nature of the commons have shifted as our technology and society has developed. Federated forums are helpful infrastructure and may play a key role in developing scalable party communications and outreach. This requires our attention.

We need a Discord at some point if we want to get anything done on Reddit. Lemmygrad is a great site, but the instant message of discord is so much more effective.

I’m open to (and 100% encourage) any Discord alternatives (Matrix, Telegram, IRC, whatever works)

They seem to be using /r/genUSA and /r/enoughcommiespam to organize these.

Maybe I should make that dorky antenna a bit bigger so it's more noticeable when it's in a tiny image...

We need to go to any leftist subs that GenZedongers have been fleeing to in order to spread the word of our transition to Lemmygrad and regroup as much of our community as we can! Anyone who hasn't yet deleted their Reddit accounts should go to any communist communities (including MLMs, Anarkiddies, Etc.) to help the cause.

Obviously, since this list is a bit old, I don't think this list will be entirely accurate as to which communities are already banned. Also, the chances of some of these communities getting touched by the Admins can differ from Possibly to Near Impossible.

Anyway, are there any more shithole spaces yet to be touched by the Admins?

I just watched a few videos of Hakim and realized he doesn't get posted on r/Breadtube. Neither does bayarea415. I'm not much of a youtube watcher but I'm sure there's other good channels one could post also.

Does anyone have experience posting ML videos there? Do they get removed? I've seen some comrades in the comments, so I was thinking maybe with a little special attention from this group we could take up a little space in that sub.

Thoughts?

Seems best to not push socialism with Chinese characteristics but focus on basic dialectial materialism, USSR and Mao type points
