Hey! I'm trying to log in to pixeldroid via pixelfed.social but I keep getting "Web server is returning an unknown error" immediately after entering the instance domain. Tried searching around but found no other reports of this. And the website itself works fine in my browser.

I don't what to join an already overburdened instance, which one do ya'll recommend?

I’ve finally got access to my account but I can’t figure out how to view or upload anything when I look at the videos tab all it says is This feature has not been enabled for your account yet.

So is loops not actually working yet or am I missing something?

Is over a week normal? I get that Loops may be taking a lot of admin bandwidth, but I still haven't heard anything back.

I registered for Pixelfed.Social 3 days ago and still haven't received an email that confirmed my account, and I can't sign in on the website. Is it dead, or are the moderators a bit slower than it said on the website? If I was rejected would I receive an email?

Hello all

I signed up for the Beta of loops but never got a email. When I went to the site I was not given a option to sign in when tried to sign up with the email I used to try and join the beta I was told the email and username was taken. I tried with another email and was told a confirmation email would be coming but I never got one is there anyway to fix this?

Can anyone give me instructions on exporting photos from one Pixelfed instance and importing them into another? I'm looking to pull together photos from an instance I used when starting on my Fedivers journey.

I recently discovered Pixelfed and really enjoy it so far :) I also registered as a beta tester for the official Android app and quickly got my partner to join.

But when I tried to send them a private message, the app instantly closes the moment the keyboard is (supposed to be) opening. It's the same for my partner, so I guess this is not a singular issue.

Also, I noticed that the app tends to slow down, the more posts are loaded on the current feed - so there may be some kind of memory leak happening (I am not very proficient in tech, so I may be using the wrong terms, sorry).

Other than that I want to take a brief moment to say thanks for this very cool project! I'm excited to see how it's going to evolve in the future! :D

Hi Pixelfed team! I love the pixelfed ios app, although as many other users have noted the adoption of the service isn't quite there yet. One thing that I like about Lemmy is that I can use a really well polished webapp in the form of wefwef. Is there any intention to port the pixelfed app into the web as a webapp? I think the design is great, and making it available on many more platforms through the web would allow for simpler development and a more unified and adoptable experience.

I’ve recently started to use Pixelfed, and I’ve been loving it so far. However, I can’t seem to find any cool profiles to follow. Most of the content that shows up for me on my “Discover” tab doesn’t really interest me.

Most pictures on said tab are nature photography - don’t get me wrong, I think it’s awesome that photographers are posting their work on Pixelfed, but that’s not really what interests me.

What profiles would you guys recommend? Any meme profiles?
