Probably better to post in the github issue rather than replying here.

This was the situation for several hours yesterday. Is anybody else having this issue?

I tried Safari and Firefox - no difference.

It's confusing for new users, and this instance in particular has 7k users but no interactions. It's a bot army, with the top user being called @admin.

Extremely shady and misleading.

P.S. I was told I'd have a higher chance of reaching the correct people by cross-posting, I'm not trying to spam so do tell me if it's the incorrect place to send this.

Lemmy in general? (self.lemmy)

How things are going with Lemmy in general?

  • The software is pretty promising.
  • The network of Lemmy instances is expanding rapidly.
  • The userbase is exploding even more rapidly.
  • The number of Lemmy mobile clients is up to 3, that I know of. (Jerboa, Mlem, Memmy)

The quirks of navigation takes some getting used to, and I kinda like the UX of Kbin better, but I find more engagement happening from the Lemmy side of things, so I guess I'm sticking here.

There doesn't seem to be a way to migrate instances easily (yet?) like with Mastodon. Not sure if that's important, but worth noting.
