okay i really need to branch out from space marines, i am posting nothing but space marines...

Showing some love for Imperial titan and space marine enthusiast. I really like the appeal of giant robots with churches on top of it. It is just wild. That is why I really like Warhammer.

I decided to try my hand at doing a planet. Turned out okay! Not 100% happy with how all of the surface detail looks but overall I'm pretty satisfied still.

"In ancient times, men built wonders, laid claim to the stars and sought to better themselves for the good of all. But we are much wiser now."

Mars, fourth from Sol. Birthplace of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the secretive priesthood that regulates the distribution and use of technology in Imperial space.

The Red Planet was the first of forge worlds, established by the nascent machine cult to safeguard technology and knowledge through the long millenia of the Age of Strife. Ever since Mars has been the strategic and economical center of the tech-priests' operations, supplying innumerable weapons, vehicles and equipment to the ravenous war machine that is the Imperium of Man.

The planet is ringed by great shipyards that labour endlessly to maintain and reinforce the Imperium's fleets and, in towering hive-factories that rise up as iron mountains through the lethally polluted atmosphere, billions of menials, enginseers and technomancers do their holy work to research, assemble and repurpose ancient tech-lore for use in this new, darker age.

time for something a little old-school - there's something so wonderfully imperfect about these older style illustrations

I always preferred figurative subjects rather than vehicles but after painting the first box cover I did this follow up.

My intention was to crop the image ,even parts of the tank itself really closely on a box cover and I left a huge amount of bleed surrounding the vehicle to enable it to be used in other formats. This was cheerfully ignored for the most part.

now i can't say with absolute authority that this is his; as he seems to have deleted all of his warhammer artwork (presumably as a response to games workshop being awful). but it matches his style, and 40k gallery claim that it's his and they tend to be correct

Last year I got to be part of the visual development of Cubicle 7 new Warhammer 40k TTRPG Imperium Maledictum. The goal was to infuse the visual style of the 40k universe with the gritty and gloomy feel of noir.

It was quite fun to explore spaces and themes that aren't always very visible in 40k media. Tim Huckelbery was of great help. Good times

Interior art for" Warhammer 40,000 6th edition rule book". I leaped at the chance to paint this, tried to draw on all the art that was done of the Emperor. Adrian Smith set a really high bar and my only hope is that I do not fall too far short.....

to me this almost looks like ralph mcquarrie's early star wars concept art; particularly the sky and ships, and the power sword

Inquisitor Jenita Huln of the Ordo Xenos at the sight of investigation with Commissar Gilliam Svenkov and Deathwatch Lieutenant Agamemnon.

Inquisitor Jenita Huln of the Ordo Xenos had recieved word of suspected Xenos activity on planet Aurelia Secundus. The nature of the information and location of the planet had her instinct tell her that the threat would possibly be much greater than it appeared. For this mission she decided to requisitioned the help of the Deathwatch and asked her trusted ally from many missions past Agamemnon to acompany her down to the sight of investigation. Her suspicions were right. What she found was without a doubt a tendril of the Genestealer Cult, and their roots run deep and wide...

now i don't normally like the primaris marine design, but it really works here. i know the inquisitor is slightly kneeling, but the sheer scale of the primaris is so stark in comparison to a normal human

Cover artwork that I did for Imperial Fists - Bastion Strike Force

now i imagine most people have seen this before, but i used it for the lemmysphere banner because the composition fitted alright, so i thought i may as well post it

imperial fist with a grey helmet and a red imperialis on the chest, holding a greatshield with an embedded skeleton; wielding a sword primaris imperial fist with a sniper eye attachment turning away from camera; holding a bolter

A friend of mine has his own Chapter color scheme for his tabletop Space Marine figures, he calls them the Argent Knights.

I needed a paintjob for this model and ran out of ideas, so I decided to do a tribute to his little guys, following his metal-and-blue color setup. He had an idea for their logo, a laurel-wreathed sword, but no visual examples of it, so I had the honor of realizing that.

The shield and gun are leftovers from my Source engine days, upgraded with PBR and detail maps.

honestly i don't know the advantage of this chonky boi over a terminator, but i think he looks cool anyways (and the aquila helmet looks much better than a terminator helmet)
