!!! Halo: Outcasts spoilers in this post and short story !!!

Synopsis:

"2560. The Banished have come to Suban, the blood-moon of Sanghelios, seeking to claim the unique natural resource within its vast mines: the beautiful but volatile Subanese crystals.

HISTORIAN’S NOTE: Battle for the Blood-Moon takes place in early 2560, in the wake of the events of Halo: Outcasts and the opening of Halo Infinite where the UNSC Infinity is ambushed by the Banished and Cortana sacrifices herself, moving Zeta Halo into slipspace.

As the title says, you will need to purchase the pass to continue progress on it when the Combined Arms operation launches next week. If you have already purchased the S5 pass, you will be able to switch between it and other passes as normal.

The Combined Arms operation will last five weeks (ends Dec 19, when Winter Contingency launches) and will have its own free 20 item track to progress on, a premium option will be available to unlock a premium-only item, keep the operation pass forever, award bonus xp during the duration of the operation, and to unlock an extra challenge slot for the duration of the operation.

Summary:

• Network overhaul is being worked on after realizing that many issues couldn’t just be patched, no release date, but it is a very deep change and will take time to develop and test

• 343 is aware of customs browser issues when joining, they ask that you continue to report issues via the support site so they can continue to track and begin work on fixed and improvements

• Cross core shoulders are coming next (no date given), making more existing coatings cross core is the goal after that. No word on other cross core components.

• HCS S1 bundles are still being fixed so players can equip individually components of them

• 343 has added more debug information to crash reports and expects stability to continue to improve

• More confirmation that Firefight King of the Hill and the repair field equipment are coming in a mid-season update (no date given)

According to replies, this was not possible at launch, and most likely happened in season 4.

I jumped back in with my boys this past week and we’re having tons of fun with it. I’ve been out of the game since the start of season 2 so it’s good to see the game finally in such a solid place.

A #HaloInfinite patch is expected to release on Thursday, Oct 26. This update includes Vsync improvements on monitors with a refresh rate of 120Hz or higher, Armor Hall stability, & improvements when selecting items in Forge. Stay tuned for patch notes when this update launches.
