You've been following this winding trail through the windswept dunes for days. Ahead you see it split. You worry about the choice you have to make, with your supplies near gone.
Tall grasses on both sides of the road means many places to hide and ambush. The rustle of the wheat is calming, but you force yourself to keep alert.

Your boots were waterlogged hours ago, but your party continues trudging through the marsh. Danger lurks just below the surface here, and your feet are the least of your concern.
As the sun fades it casts long shadows. Every movement from the trees reflects in the shadows and you keep thinking something is there. Roll perception.
The salty sea air fills your lungs and a constant cool breeze blows inland from here. The map led here, but where exactly is here?
The carver lives here. Every night, a new jack-o'-lantern appears in front of his home. The old hermit loves visitors and always offers hot apple cider to anyone who ventures to his neck of the woods.
As your party nears the field, fear grips your hearts and cold sweat beads. Is that a man or a monster? It's the Scarecrow.
This time the release is a phased map! One of the winning themes for the month is underwater, so I decided to go for a shark-themed map. The fun thing about this one is that it is loopable, so you can loop the shark as many times as you want, before launching it into an attack. If you want to loop it, you can go from phase 8 to phase 2 and then just continue to 3, 4 ,5 etc. If you want to go into an attack, you can do a smooth transition from phase 6 into 1 and add the shark token on the map (available to Patrons only). The shadow of the shark will create a lot of tension for your players, and I designed it in a way where the bigger and blurrier the shadow is, the further away the shark, but as it gets closer, the shadow becomes smaller and sharper.

In this timeless forest, faeries and spirits keep the trees and shrubs in continual renewal. The air smells sweet, inviting travelers.
"She turns wandering children into pumpkins!" While you're not sure if this is true, your party is careful not to disturb the pumpkins as you approach the crone's cottage.

Nestled within the rugged embrace of towering, mist-shrouded mountains, this mountain village rises from the craggy cliffs, perched majestically on the edge of a swirling ocean. Stone stairs connect the village’s quaint cottages, their walls adorned with vibrant ivy.
The surrounding mountains harbor secret caves, rumored to be the domain of ancient forest spirits. High above, griffins soar, their wings catching the first light of dawn, while merfolk playfully breach the waves below. This idyllic village, with its union of mountain and sea, stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of magic, nature, and civilization in this enchanting realm.

Following this ancient stone path into the hills you come upon an old stone gateway. Passing through it, you feel uneasy and you ready your guard.
They say dryads one inhabited this forest. Your party hasn't seen one yet, but watch every tree more carefully than one ought need to watch trees.
I'm not a DM and I've never played DND so maybe this sucks but I thought I'd pass it on because I like browsing this community.
I was messing around with Bing Image Creator and thought I'd see what kind of map I could make. I think my immature prompt here was "The Ball Zone: Dungeons and Dragons battle map of a ball factory. Balls are used as obstacles throughout the map"
I'm not sure if I'd use anything Bing makes as-is but it might be cool for inspiration at least
