The Kern County Board of Supervisors had a public hearing Tuesday on changes to the Safe Camping ordinance that, if passed, can empower authorities to swiftly remove homeless encampments from public spaces.

It’s been a while since we’ve had an update on the Centennial corridor, the one connecting the Westside Parkway to the 99. Does anyone know anything, and/or when it will open?

Why did he quit a month after defiantly posting, “I never quit”? Perhaps because the idea of his demotion from speaker of the House to backbencher gradually became too much to bear.

The food is a bit pricey but it is delicious.
