I have a couple of pics where my eyes dont look right and my smile is weird. Are there any apps that I can use to fix this? Alternatively I am also open to gimp or krita plugins that can help with this.

Recently, I've been getting my apps from GitHub using Obtainium. But I can only find Brave Nightly. Is the GooglePlay/AuroraStore the only way to get the official Brave stable?

Looking for something to contribute to and if it doesn't work properly now I will have a good starting point. Other recommendations are also fine.

app vetting (self.FOSSdroid)

I just wanted to ask how you guys are vetting the apps that you download. As someone who's fairly new to going the open source way, I typically like to see what reviews say but it seems like there's not a really straightforward/easy way of doing that with open source because most of the repositories don't have any of that kind of information on them.

tasks.org is so good (self.FOSSdroid)
submitted 1 year ago by maror to c/[email protected]

I just spent half an hour going through all of the app's settings and I am so hyped from the amount of details that went into it. Some of the things that made me realize the author put their heart and soul into it:

  • Custom filters; pages that show tasks satisfying a certain criteria, e.g. due date is up until tomorrow
  • Notification sound can be played repeatedly 5 times to catch your attention
  • Random reminders in case you're procrastinating
  • Optionally ignore fields you don't use in the task editing screen. I hid reminders (because the defaults are good enough), tags, location, priority. I appreciate it so much.
  • The fucking widget is customizable to death, you can hide the check boxes, hide the dividing lines between tasks, change the font size.

It's perfect, it's obviously on F-Droid, and it obviously sync with Nextcloud. The widget thing was what made me write this post. They really went out of their way to make the app satisfy everyone.

Thanks for listening

I've been using OpenBoard, I have FlorisBoard as well, but I'm waiting on the predictive text update to daily drive it. Is there anything better, or is that about it?
