If the XM-XO is anything like the XM-XX model, then that thing just felt so good putting together. I'd go for the moon fight scene first just to work on that model.
Looking good! I can't wait for mine to show up so that it can keep my Rose company.
Well, technically you got more than your money's worth!
But I agree, even as a 80/90's kid, give me the translucent phone, translucent Gameboy, etc. But I'll lean towards the opaque gunpla.
But severance pay is almost always part of consideration in a "you can't sue us" contract. So the company is not just giving you pay in lieu of notice, they're buying your rights away.
I've also seen plenty of corporations that punish you when you give two weeks notice by immediately barring you from working and you end up losing two weeks pay by planning on being considerate.
So this is what you needed those measurements for. It looks good!
Sounds like having a sign friend is good thing to have!
Looking good!
So, the horse gundam is piloted also by a horse with the same name as the gundam?
Does the Fuunsaiki model come with an optional saddle peg that seats into the gunpla action stand crotch hole? Seems like that would be a way to get it to stay on there reliably. The horse's stand does seem... unfortunately placed.
We did that in the 90s while they were still new. See: The Toxic Avengers.
It depends on the part and the decal location. Usually I like to build first, so that I can see how the decal fits in the bigger picture. But some decal locations aren't very accessible after assembly, but sometimes I still assemble then pull the parts off if necessary.
But that's just my preference, whatever works best for you is valid.
Honestly, patience is the name of the game. As long as the decal isn't ripped or crumbled, you should be able to re-wet it and adjust it again.
Cut each decal out before you wet it, you should only need to dip it for a few seconds and then let the water do it's work. I usually use a damp q-tip to slide the decal from the sheet onto the part and to adjust it in place. Then, once you're sure it's in the right place use the dry side to barely kiss the decal to absorb the excess water on it. If you bump it off course, just use the wet end again to transfer a bit of water onto the decal and let it absorb so that it's re-positionable.
I personally don't use anything other than just water. No Mr Setter, Mr Softer, or topcoat. I do my models just decals and panel liner and they look great to me. But it's your model, do what looks good to you.
Sooo, I shouldn't point out the RG Shin's Zaku II that is still available for pre-order?
But honestly, I'm in the same boat. I finally broke down and ordered the two High Mobility Zakus to finish out the set. Definitely not ready to drop extra cash on Gunpla yet.
There's good Korean punk, rock, and metal as well. Nuclear Idiots, Harry Big Button, Dead Chant, Method, Duoxini, BADLAMB.
