This, like so many stories are a load of nonsense. The billionaires faked their deaths. Who would go into such a poorly designed contraption, only to watch on a video screen? Apparently the Navy knew on Sunday the 'sub' imploded, but no one said anything until today. Sure, sure.

If the US government wants to do it, yes they could. The problem is they no longer do what is right, they do what is politically easy. Their recent attempts at diminishing drugs don’t give me much confidence. They invaded Afghanistan fighting the Taliban because they harbored Bin Laden, but because the Taliban also was against growing opium, somehow the US military allied itself with opium growers. And the drug war in Colombia only increased violence, and the small amounts of drug smuggling operations that it can say it eliminated simply moved to Mexico.

I think you should only be able to transition if you were born with both sets of equipment. If not, its just a mental disorder. About Mexico, the problem there is that the actual government does not help the common people, and so the cities where the cartels are supported, it is because the cartels build schools and infrastructure the legit government is supposed to but doesn't. Taking out the cartels is just going to create a hornets nest, like taking out the Colombians was, it won't change anything, except who is doing the smuggling.

I was clueless, somewhere I read Beehive was the biggest instance, so I joined that, then the next day or so there was a notice about de-federating. The people were writing about how wonderful it is to block other instances, but I couldn't figure out what exactly they were talking about. Others were thanking the mods for protecting them. I was thinking 'protecting?... what from what?' One wrote something like 'I wouldn't like a nameless person walking into my house.' Then all of a sudden a thunderbolt hit me, and all the hints I was ignoring, punched me in the face. All at once, I could see their rainbow flags, gay user names, and motto's plastered everywhere. AAAH! I'm in a gay bar! luckily they listed the sites they wanted to block, and the first few were commie sites, and then happily the next one was this one, which seems pretty good so far. I guess newbies llike me are going to make mistakes, but it seems to have worked out.

I've seen it where the grandparents are taking a more active role in raising their kid's children, because if they didn't, they would have to wait until they are in their 40's to afford children. So you have the grandparents taking care of their grandchildren while the parents work two jobs each.

Our technology is not advanced enough to accomplish what the doctors promise these poor people. They think they can create something better or equal to nature, it was never going to end well. You have predatory doctors seeing patients who are in their darkest moment, and all they see is a stream of dollars.
