This idea of a a single income supporting a family is part of that past that never existed. That was never the norm for Americans. (So long as POC and women count as Americans)

I think it's a mistake to center the ethnic cleansing on Netanyahu or his government. When you read the history, there is an unbroken through-line between Ben-Gurion and Netanyahu insofar as the Palestinians are concerned. Liberal, conservative, secular, or religious the Israeli government has pursued a policy of ethnic cleansing.
