Do you hear yourself? You want revolution through explaining?

Trump supporters are not confused progressives. Trump is what America wants, He's what America is. He's what America deserves. Trump is more American than bullets and ground beef. He hasn't overthrown the founders, he's fulfilled their vision. We're not going to change that by scolding people on the internet.

I understand, I used to think just like you. I used to be a patriot. I've voted for every Democrat presidential nominee from Gore to Harris. But these days I'm writing to the State to take my name off those goddam rolls. I suppose you'll take a dim view of that, but no bullshit about civic duty, democracy, or engagement could ever compare to the tangible material benefit of avoiding jury duty.

I don't wanna save America anymore. In fact I think her decline is funny and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

I'm not an accelerationist, but what's left to do now except bathe in the worm glow of our country burning down?

There is no arguing that America doesn't deserve all the bad things, and maybe a good old fashioned conflagration would straighten the survivors out for a generation or two.

In the book "the road" the protagonist gives the following advice to his young son. "once you put something in your head, it's there forever. You should think about that".

The knock on effects of tariffs are wild. You may have noticed a trend in the last few years of pillows and sleeping bags being half stuffed animal and marketed to kids. These products exist because the tariffs on bedding are lower than on toys.

The concept of "war crimes" implies that honorable warfare exists.

it never occurred to me just how brand-conscious super heroes are in general.

I always assume people who assert that the government is automatically less efficient, more expensive, and poorly run compared to private industry must never have been associated with a large corporation, or lack awareness.

Medicare, as it exists today, delivers superior care at lower cost than any private insurer. This despite the fact that Medicare covers the elderly and disabled, groups that need more care than the population at large that the private guys cover. If you think about it, Medicare is a giant subsidy to the private market by removing needy populations from their rolls.

The scheme to include private guys in medicare "medicare advantage", was supposed to bring down costs by bringing in the efficiency of the private market. Medicare Advantage today costs more than the Army and the Navy.

Haters will say this is fake:

Interest in UFOs is just masculine coded astrology. I know that they seem silly and harmless, but they laid the foundations for anti-vax and flat-earth. I also can't help but notice that there is a positive correlation between conspiratorial thought and conservative politics.

Games were better before achievements. Admit it, you've played a game in way that you actively don't enjoy or long after you've lost interest, just to pop some worthless achievement.

I understand a few studios take the time to make achievements humorous or worthwhile to the actual game your playing, but that's just another reminder that most studios don't.

It's worse than you think. We've been trying. The first Democratic administration to push for universal healthcare was Truman.

Regardless of the effectiveness of ABA, this is not a clinical position being taken by UHC, it's a strategic plan that labels autistic children as a burden to their shareholders, an endeavors to shed this burden. It's exactly this kind of ghoulish logic that have normies cheering the murder of insurance executives.

People are waking up to the reality that for-profit health insurance is a parasitic scheme to collect premiums and deny care. The people who profit from this system, the ones who design, and improve upon it, are morally bankrupt and an active threat to the health and well being of most Americans.

I don't call for them to die like Osama Bin Laden, I call for them to live like him, afraid and in hiding.

So I put 4 cloves in a small batch of salsa. I did roast them with a butane torch and thought that would make the flavor a little milder, nope.

Conservatives joke that progressives just blow with the wind from one controversy to the next. But I can't help but notice the anti-Biden "left" shifted hard from Genocide Joe to Bad debate Performance without skipping a beat or looking back.

Almost like the people stoking these fires don't really care about left issues at all.
