The problem with the "black Jobs" rhetoric is that it was made in reference to immigrant labor, implying that black Americans are a permanent racial underclass competing for low wage jobs with new immigrants. Trump broke the cardinal rule of Republican politics: he told the truth.

That's why Biles' statement is notable, because her "black job" is to be a world champion.

This reminds me that ranchers in Colorado, the Dakotas, and Wyoming adjacent to National Parks are gigantic chickens clucking over a few gray wolves.

It's pretty hilarious for Hamas and Hezbollah to complain their opponents aren't playing fair. And when you remember that Israel is murdering thousands of innocents, who are forced to live in squalor. While these motherfuckers are clutching pearls over some terrorist executives living their best lives abroad.

For the leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas or Iran, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria, etc.. for that matter, the Palestinians are not teammates, they're the ball.

The most beneficial application of AI like this is to reverse-engineer the neural network to figure out how the AI works. In this way we may discover a new technique or procedure, or we might find out the AI's methods are bullshit. Under no circumstance should we accept a "black box" explanation.

Skipping the second ape encounter paradox:

If you're good enough at the game that you can skip two prayer beads, then defeating the ape duo should be no challenge.

I oppose the death penalty, but not because I think it's wrong to kill some criminals. I am perfectly fine with ending people like Tim McVeigh or Susan Smith. My problem is that I don't have confidence courts can reliably tell who deserves and who doesn't.

They always say the death penalty is for the "worst of the worst", but many arbitrary factors can make the difference. The race /social class of the criminal/ victim. The ambition of the prosecutor. The location of the crime.

Horseshoe crabs are vexing. We capture millions for their blood (useful for testing the purity of phama). There are alternatives, but biologist worry that the animals will suffer more if they become useless to humans.
